E-NADAHA !!
IT is an invitation to approach the core of your heart..to approach faith.
.
.

The gate..

WE go to sleep, wake up..eat drink, laugh
and want.
Desires drive us..we love, then want and do..
and although we think and calculate,we simply choose to ignore our minds as soon as we love..desire is the most powerful drive.and it's all cooked in the heart..we see..then love what we see then go for it..hear,we love what we hear then go for it..and when the heart loves and desires..the mind start to flood with that desire..we start thinking about it and talking about it..
only then..we loose all control and we pass from the gate of our heart cause it swallows up our desires and get all over us..
Then we become..just that..drived truck, going overhill with no breaks ..no one can tell what will happen to it..
and to gain back control of our hearts we must regain control on our senses..we must choose what to see..what to hear..what to think and what to talk about..with only one key......what we really want out of this life..
all those four senses are like wild rivers that run in parallel lines yet gather at the end to fall into one big sea ..that sea is the heart ..long time ago, they said that the heart is like a carrot..if you put it in sugar it becomes jam and if you put it in salt it becomes pickels..it's what you expose your senses to therefore your heart..hearts are like sponges if you put them in milk then squeez they'll give you milk but if you put them in vinegar it will give you just that..and don't ever think that one dipp will do good if in sugar or do no bad if in salt...it needs continuos exposer ..cause what you will record on the tape will fill the tape and last for ever.. if i listened to music all day long it will touch me and control my moods and my senses, and then quran won't make me shiver down my spine..unless i expose my heart to it long enough to deleat what was recordered previously..
We need to maintain pure invironment for our hearts in order to love what allah loves..desire what allah wants for us..see it..hear it..think of it and talk about it..
we must re-evaluate our companions..cause friends do drag, even if you think you are strong as hercules !!
we must re-evaluate our time..what we expose to.. if i begine to love how others dress ,say, live and want ..i will be encripted by that..if i keep looking at money..hearing about money..thinking about money, then i'll talk only about money because i will love money..that allah said about it that it's a distraction..it's only a tool not a goal..
we have a jewel inside us..let's trim it ..and keep it sparkling..let's not drop it in the mud..let's fill our hearts with faith..let's fill mosques all around the world..let's use that treasure that allah gave to us.. let's all meet in paradise..

I like your style very much in this one. But you have serious logic issues. This is not the first time you start really great then fizzle out in the middle of the article!
What does being exposed to something have to do with not appreciating another? Each one is an experience on it's own
For example:
If you eat Molokhyyeh every day. This doesn't mean you're going to hate eating 7amam ma7shi! The logic is totally flowed!

Then you move to a very interesting part about companions and what not, and I totally agree with you. We really need to continuously evaluate our lives and friends. And assist them to refrain from anything that is harmful or haram. After all, we won't be good friends if we don't do that

Unfortunately, this whole article is incoherent, what you have in your mind is noble, but impractical. (and needs to be spell checked)

regarding the spell check..i sure need one all the time..
*who said anything about love and hate??!!
i never said what you got..infact i love eating molokhya with hamam ma7shi,,
i am talking about exposing our hearts to allah MORE..with no time limits or boundries..
it is not me who fizzel out in the middle:)
try to read with your heart then think..and i'm all ears:)

You used the wrong argument! I need to think once when I read, you need to think 100 when you write!

Can I ask you to do something, for once, take my comment as feed back not as criticism and don't stop being defensive about it!
The minute you get defensive you immediately stop understanding my point and engage in fighting back!
I'm not going to give you empty compliments (I'll leave this to others). And when you do a good job, I always say it's good!

Well, Mr. ...
You are the teacher here, and you are the one who knows better than everyone here...We apologize for our empty compliments that we give here...It's our fault...

Lsn,
We all come here to breathe! I am sure all of us are running from people who always tell us what to do, how to feel, How to act!
We aren't coming here to be taught AGAIN!

You can disagree with some of the points that is discussed in an article, you can send an e-mail to the writer, if you REALLY want the writer to develop his/her writing skills...But, your way is just annoying! It's like you are the Boss who knows EVERY SINGLE thing in life -and I am sure you aren't!-

So, please, let the caller express what she wants, without feeling stressed later!

DEar the caller,
I suggest that you send your posts for Q , in order to rank it from (1-10), and when he gives you a 7 and above, you can post it here!

"If I listened to music all day long it will touch me and control my moods and my senses, and then Quran won't make me shiver down my spine. Unless I expose my heart to it long enough to delete what was reordered previously." Perhaps, this is brilliant! This is a Caller post and may God al Mighty reward you with good. But you know my friend; we can have some control on desires, it's a matter of "what do we want to do at the end".

Dear the Caller, people like you , me , Neverland and many others who never had the chance to live in the US or have their English language skills well polished may use MS WORD to spell check their posts before posting them here. I do it all the time : )

Qweider: You bring important issues here, but my friend, sometimes I feel that the Quranic verses holds here: قال الله تعالى: لو كنت فظا غليظ القلب لانفضوا من حولك"

So please try to have it reformed so everybody would benefit from your naked truth.

Neverland: Come on, nobody be3alem 3ala nobody. Maybe we should learn how to write code or do web architecture and dump our concurrent engineering approaches in order to be classified as "sages" these days. FEA & complex machining are "life 1" methods, lets upgrade to "Web 2" methods where you we use JAVA applets to send data to a 5-axis milling machine then in turn, it'd communicate with a robot through a fake IP so to ensure the data is safe. We'll get Graphite Electrodes online, roughness is measured through J2ME technology and we will be pro's when it comes to ASSEMBLY programming and BRU using BeCu platforms!! They're hard like hardened P2! Someday , you will be able to EDM a copper work-piece through VRML with no die electric solution because you will simply do that on a cool website! Hey, don't forget to get the latest ADOBE PHOTOSHOP POCKET-pro release because it's the Design engineer's best friend!

Yuck! Some logi

With no die electric solution? Maybe, who knows? Cutting a hardened D2 by using a wire was something imaginary, and just happened! But you always need a "COOL" enviroment to prevent the SHORT CIRCUIT problemo!

You Just Made me laugh! Thanks :D

exactly ukhti caller! Just a few days ago, walah I can't find the link anymore, I was reading about Sufism and they basically said (I can't remember the exact wording) that minimalism is immunisation. Although I'm not a sufi, but I tend to agree with this statement. The more you take of something the more it becomes a part of your life. If your whole life is based on getting more material gains, then this will effect you. On the other hand, if you spend more time for Islam, then this too will effect you and become a part of you.

I do not indorce being completely away from this life like alot of sufis do. Islam is 3ibada (and by 3ibada over here I mean private worship between you and Allah, like prayer, fasting, hajj, etc.) and 3amal. You have to create a balance between the two.

mashallah, the way you described the heart in your post actually says it all very well.

wassalam.

This is a very good post! I like your comparisons a lot and can very well read a clear message out of it! There is a saying in German which goes : "Tell me who you're dealing with, who's your company - and I tell you who you are"! That is a part of what you are telling us and it is VERY true!
One needs to be exposed to the right environment, influences and people inorder to be "tuned properly" - you are definitlely right with that! I love your example with the carrot ... I never thought of it this way but that's just the way it is! I can clearly see the message you want to convey ... and I couldn't agree more to it! GREAT POST; caller!!

A word to Qwaider ...
You're talking spell-check? Grab yourself on your OWN nose 'cause YOU need one too ... flawed is written with an "aw" and not an "ow"! Not for nothing do I teach English as well .. in other words - do NOT try to critizise others and make them feel insecure - something you're a MASTER of! Nobody's perfect - not even YOU!
A few words about the post ... why on earth do you ALWAYS have to swoop down like a hawk on people who anyway struggle and make them feel even more insecure that they already do??? Can't you see the message the caller wants to convey - and in MY humble opinion DOES CLEARLY GET ACROSS??? Why do you have to hack around on her and anylyse each sentence while discecting it to the bones? She writes with her HEART, she puts her SOUL in what she writes .. can't you feel that?? Can't you feel the warmth, the compassion which pours out of every single word?? I chose to use the expression of Rhett Buttler in "Gone with the Wind" who told Scarlet O'Hara at the end of the movie ... "Frankly my dear - I don't give a damn" - if there are typoes or grammer-flaws in a post - what IS important to me though and what you seem to miss entirely is what the message is all about. De facto of course you DO understand - but your he

Was thecaller hurt? Walah I would have said something a long time ago! almost the first day I started commenting on this blog I saw Qwaider calling her "ya benti" (which means "my daughter", in Arabic, calling someone this when they're not really your daughter is quite degrading) when a more right title would be "ya ukhti" (my sister). I wanted to say something but thecaller took it cheerfully and didn't complain. And until now, mashallah tabarakallah, I never saw her complain. It is her call whether she was offended or not, not mine, nor yours, and I am yet to hear her say that she was. She's a wonderful sister, but I refuse to take sides on this matter unless thecaller herself says she was offended and Qwaider refused to back down, and until now that never happened. Until now, it was other people jumping up and down on Qwaider. I think that is quite unfair.

wassalam
